非也! 925銀故名思意指銀的含量達92.5%, 而其餘的7.5%多是合金。就是因為這7.5%的合金, 有些人即使配帶925純度的銀飾仍覺敏感難當。事實上, 只有純度達99.9%的銀才稱得上是真正的「純銀」, 亦最能防治敏感情況。情形就如純度達99.99%的金我們才會稱之為千足純金, 未達此標者我們只稱為K金一樣。

Does 925 Sterling silver = Pure Silver?
No! 925 Sterling silver is a metal that combine 92.5% silver with 7.5% alloy. This is the reason why some people would suffer from allergy when wearing 925 sterling silver products. That is because that 7.5% alloy irritates the wearer. Only 999 fine silver can be called as Pure Silver because it is constituted of 99.9% silver with less than 0.1% impurity and can minimize the possibility of allergy. Just like 9999 pure gold is constituted of 99.99% gold. Gold with less gold content will be called as K-gold instead of pure gold.
